Identity and Purpose: The Wellness & Leadership Circles are for all those in Classical Music who wish to join together in mutual care, support, dialogue and to share resources for the purpose of cultivating a healthier and more equitable workplace culture on stage, back stage, in the practice studio and internally.
The Challenge and our Goal: The workplace culture is not always friendly, safe or equitable. Our goal is threefold: (1) to create an environment for mutual support; (2) to empower Circle members to address incidents of harm when they arise; and (3) to transform the culture of Classical Music working environments, building working communities that are equitable, diverse, inclusive and free from harassment.
About Confidentiality: To nurture a safe space, the conversations at the Wellness & Leadership Circle are confidential, as far as the law allows. By registering to join the Circle, you commit to holding in confidence all comments made during Circle gatherings, as far as the law allows.
